This Week’s Chapters: Matthew 11 - 15
Pastor Julie Beemer
Matthew 14:22 - "Then He directed the disciples to get into the boat and go before Him to the other side…"
When we know that the Lord has asked us to do something, we can have such confidence that we will get to the other side of any situation. We can even go further than that and know we will have success because He has said to do it.
The disciples were doing what Jesus said. Wouldn’t it have been easier to just stay at home in their nice cosy beds?
Whilst going they faced a terrible storm. There are safer places but none so exciting. That night they saw Peter walk on water. How exciting to have been there. Imagine the stories that came from that night. They probably reminded themselves about that one many times. “Remember the night…..if we made it then, we can surely make it now”
What decision are you facing today? First make sure you are doing what the Lord has told you to do. It may seem difficult or crazy but if God has asked you to do something, know that you will make it.
It will not always be easy! Life isn’t easy even when you do nothing at all. So heading out with purpose and a definite aim will most definitely receive opposition and resistance. It takes muscles to do what God says!
Testimonies always have a ‘TEST’. To Triumph requires trying with an ‘umph’!
What has He told you to do? Tell me how He has got you through! Don’t forget you won’t sink when you’re standing on His WORD!

You are quite right P.Julie as He has said that His word will be a lamp unto our feet and light unto our paths, standing on his promises which we find in his word daily will surely stand sure in the day of adversity.
Daily reading of scriptures brings to light God’s confirmation on certain decision in life.
God Bless You.

Thank you Adeola!! I love that scripture of how He lights our path. It shows that we are dependent on Him daily. No other God desires a daily relationship like He does. You are amazing!! Love to you!

Hello Pastor Julie,
It was good to see your word for today, I had been asking GOD today for is answer to my situation that He has asked me to do, one that I am finding difficult to do, I know I will do it, but did hesitate, and the words, YOU WON’T SINK ,made me laugh with joy of, yes Lord, it’s not a problem is it. Thank GOD for his words of Wisdom.
Thank you and Blessings Julie.

Hey Pastor Julie
I think you already know how God has been saying to me “I Dare You” and my first gut reaction is normally, are you sure? I am scared to do this on my own, but God is always so quick to remind me, you ARE a child of God and you are NEVER alone, I AM is with you always! This always gives me so much confidence to the point that I know that I can do anything. Anything is possible with GOD! Have Faith and take action!
Peace, Love & Hope x

What a great chapter this is!! We read a book last year called - “if you want to walk on water, you’ve got to get out of the boat”..so often fears etc stop us from ‘getting out of the boat’. There was a song several years ago by Martyn Joseph which said R-I-S-K spells Faith!! So, are we up for some “water walking”?
Also, on Vision Sunday, one of the definitions of FRESH, was about a cow giving birth to a calf!!? I had a sense that 08 is going to be a year of new birth - that many new faith ventures are going to start this year, as God is calling people to take some faith steps for Him. WOW how exciting.....

! How fun is this!! Pastor Matt was talking this morning at WHBTC about the calling that is on our church. “That the Nations will hear.....” The world is our Field!!! So much more of course but I am fired up for the future!! GO CHURCH!!!!

Bless you Julie, I was talking to Roy B about your vision for 2008, Roy mentioned the word “Fresh”. Extraordinarily only the previous evening I had been watching Rodney Howerd Browne on the God Channel and during the ministry time for some reason...after many alleluias and Jesus`s… he inexplicably started speaking “fresh!” as he laid on hands, kinda looks like something good is in the wind dont you think!!! Praise the Lord!
