The nursery provides full-time day care for babies to 4 year olds with opening hours from 8.00am to 6.00pm daily Monday to Friday, offering fun and quality childcare in a loving and caring Christian environment. Originally opened as a play group providing part-time sessions in January 2003, SonShine Nursery has touched the lives of hundreds of children and parents in the local community, and is now fully established to make an even greater impact in the years ahead.
Mission Statement
Our purpose is:
- To provide high quality childcare in a safe and secure environment and an atmosphere that encourages all our children, parents & carers to excel and “aim high” in their personal development and fulfillment of their potential.
- To be a "Centre of Excellence" for childcare in the North West which meets all the needs of our children, parents and carers on a fully inclusive basis irrespective of race, religion, or social / economic background.
- To provide our children with the opportunity to express their full potential as valuable members of their family and community, and in particular to encourage the development of their leadership skills.
