Remember, anything you buy through the WHBC web shop helps support fundraising for Go Kids studio, as well as supporting the church in all our outreach programmes, including the Let's Go! Vision and beyond!
So - check it out now! there are plenty of special offers on clothing, jewellery, electrical goods, DIY products and lots more from the big high street names so why not bless the church at the same time as blessing your family and friends. (For example, you can buy computers and IT equipment, then use the search facility to compare products from all the various retailers to help you find the best price).
PS. We are looking for a volunteer to champion the www.buy.at/whbc scheme and help to get the word out - give us a call if you are interested - 0161 736 9422.

- Pastor Matt This is excellent! I didn't realize there were so many things included under this! Even utilities, banks, travel, etc. How much goes to the church? Is it a straight percentage, or does it depend on the item?
- Martin K Hi Pastor Matt (& all), it's come on leaps and bounds since Carol set this up a couple of years back. As I recall the percentage is set by the supplier and there were some minor variances between them, but I may have that wrong. Either way it was always an encouragement to get their cheques sent to WHBC periodically, for no extra cost to anyone who purchases using this scheme. There are now many such schemes around, but in the run up to Christmas, even on our careful purchases (so we don't go into debt (:o), it's still well worth it. The more people use it, the more WHBC gets - it's as simple as that, so go for it folks. There are no catches. Make sure you can afford your purchases though! Blessings, Martin K.
- Karen Tabner It really is worth checking this site before you go to buy things and by clicking on the A-Z button it shows you the retailers and tells you how much each company will contribute to WHBC. For example signing up for BT Broadband will give us £40-£50, shopping at B & Q will earn us 3% of what you spend, HMV up to 4%, Morethan car insurance £38, M & S 5%, Waterstones Books 5%, T-mobile £3-£73....and it can all be done from the comfort of your own home!
