Julie and I were invited to take a seat in the chairs situated near his desk while he sat down and rocked comfortably, in his worn office chair. We introduced ourselves and shared why we wanted to meet with him.
After a short fifteen-minute meeting, we were only too happy to exit the fortress–like building having received what we came for. The Chief of Police, a Muslim, offered his full support and protection – including permission to keep his personal mobile number in our phones to use whenever we need!
We only have 6 weeks left before we fly to the UK. From June-September we will be ministering in England, N. Ireland, Rep. of Ireland and Latvia before moving to Abuja the end of September! We can’t wait to see everyone!!!
