Lets Go! Special Announcement

Our vision for 2008 is Fresh ’08, A Year of New Beginnings… This is certainly shaping up to be the case… When the Beemers moved to the UK fourteen years ago, it was because the Lord told them, ‘England is a nation FROM which to reach the Nations, and that it will happen both IN the country, and FROM the country’.

This has certainly come to pass in measure, but Pastor Matt shared in this most recent series, Let’s Go!, significant steps that are taking this ministry into its most influential time ever.

Pioneering World Harvest Bible Church has been Phase I in God’s plan for Pastor Matt and Julie, and now WHBC is in the best place the church has ever been! Because of this it is now time for Phase II.

PHASE II is to contribute significantly towards the closure of the Great Commission by planting Ministry Training Centres and Churches in Islamic North Africa and the Middle East.

THE AIM is to dramatically impact the 1.4 billion people in the Islamic World with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

WHATS NEXT: In order to accomplish this, the Beemers will be moving their family to Abuja, Nigeria in May 2009 where they will start the first ministry training centre and possibly a church. The focus of this training centre will be to mobilise Nigerians into the unreached nations of North Africa and the Middle East. After this training centre gets off to a strong start, they will quickly be starting ministry training centres in places like Cairo, Istanbul, Dubai, and other key cities as the Lord leads. As Pastor Matt has said, ‘Our intention is to spend the rest of our lives doing all we can to bring Jesus to these parts of the World.’

WHBC CHURCH LEADERSHIP: Pastor Matt and Julie will remain as Founding Pastors and Overseers of World Harvest Bible Church, and International Directors of World Harvest Bible Training Centre. They desire to keep a flat in the city of Manchester and will be spending a good amount of time here, but their primary focus will be spent in other countries. Between now and May next year they will be making preparations for the move. This includes Pastor Alan and Claire Morton stepping up into the Senior Pastor role. There will be a review of this intended transition in October of this year, and should all be in agreement, Pastors Alan and Claire will officially be commissioned as Senior Pastors during our annual Destiny Week.

GET MORE INFO: For more information and details about ‘Phase II, please listen to the three part series entitled, ‘Let’s Go!on the WHBC media page.

KEEP INFORMED: Also, keep checking the website for articles and blogs. Pastor Matt and Julie will be using this website as their main tool for keeping everyone updated to the progress of their preparations.

SUPPORT: This, like all Pastor Matt and Julie has done, is a faith adventure, and many have asked how they can help financially support their next step. You can email for bank details to set up a standing order, or simply donate to WHBC designating your gift for ‘Phase II – Let’s Go!’. All financial support will be used to help Pastor Matt and Julie move their family, provide for the ministry team who will be going with them, set up the new ministry headquarters in Abuja, and help fund the launch of the first training centre.
the end.
