As we were ministered to, the air was punctuation with unified grunts of appreciation, iron man style. Carried along by this masculine vocal encouragement , Pastor Alan inspired us with the story of David and Johnathan, two men who were closer than brothers, two men who spurred each other on to achieve more, two men who shared their experiences, good and bad, as well as their struggles and triumphs. Real men, who kept an honest and short account of one another, each for the good of the other. A relationship based on Godly, brotherly love, inspired by the culture of the kingdom, and not the cultures of this world. Men who are the greatest leaders and shakers of the day, at the forefront of the advancing kingdom. Men who know there God, and make their God known. Inspiring others to want what they've got.
We've been challenged to lay hold of 10 men this year, are we willing to become sharpened by other men in order to become the example, inspiration and leaders men are looking for?
As iron, sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17.
Grunt. Grunt.
