As I was reading our weekly scriptures I came upon this scripture and was reminded how we are the ones who choose what kind of container we become in the House of God!! We have the choice to be containers for noble purposes or ignoble purposes!!
I have used the scripture in my life so many times but have never put it in the context of my service to the Lord. This scripture is definitely talking about what we do in our House of God. We can choose to sit idly by or actually be useful to the Master!!!
You know my rubbish bin just collects all the refuse and not much else. But my teapot (kettle) is amazing, it provides that much needed cuppa to get the morning started, keep me warm during the day, helps me to unwind in the afternoon and last but not least it prepares me for the wonderful evening curled up to my gorgeous man at night! What would we do without our teapots (kettle)!!!
I love the part of the scripture that says, “Prepared to do any good work”!! WHBC has so many good works as we have seen. Are you prepared to do any good work?
September is here! The schedule has settled in. No more making excuses. Become holy and useful to the Master!! Join a team! Become a little teapot with me!!
Tell us what you thought of the Roadshow everyone! Would love to hear your comments!

- Karen S The Roadshow was a good way to get connected to a Ministry helps and to each other and the scope to see other Ministry helps being opened up and developed.
- Pastor Claire Pastor Alan and I were so thrilled at the effort that the teams went to in showcasing their area of ministry within WHBC. Thank you so much to all of you for all the time you put into making your areas presentable.
- Peter Hayes I had never seen it that way either Pastor Julie, but now you mention it, I agree wholeheartedly. Come on everyone, deliberately put yourself in a position where God can use you by reading the Word which brings Faith into our hearts (our spirits) as we believe and confess it over our lives, the Church and the lives of those who are yet to know Jesus. God has made us to overflow and as we take that step of giving out in Faith the inflow happens. As Jame says "Go for it!"
As you say PJ let us be vessels that are fruitful bringing our supply/giftings and not like the garbage can(bin) full of rubbish that is neither useful or helpful. Like the teapot you can put tea/bags in the pot but if you don't add water it stays dry and is of no use,we need to water our spirit within with the Word, prayer and active service or we become dry. As it says in (Amp) 2 Tim 2:21 Keep ya self clean, stay clear of unclean filthy influences. Be a vessel set apart useful for honourable a noble purposes.Fit & ready for any good work.
