This Weeks Chapters: 1 Tim 1 - 5
Pastor Julie Beemer
I Timothy 3:4
…He must rule his own house well…
With all that’s going on with the GO KIDS STUDIO I’m totally excited about the plan God has for us as we train and nurture our young people! Auto pilot child training is not an option! We must recognize they are gifts from God and treasure them and the short time we get to influence their lives.
Lately I’ve been thinking about how valuable our seed is! My grandfather had many racehorses. Although the horses would make money running in races they became more valuable because of their ability to breed and produce horses of even better quality. Their seed became highly valuable especially when they won! Others recognized this and would pay a premium just for that seed.
Our children (seed) are far more valuable than a race horse. When you value something you protect it and make sure it is well taken care of. Our seed is our most valuable possession as Christian parents! They will be stronger and know their God even more than we have as we nurture them in the way of the Lord. So let’s do our very best – and put our whole heart into this endeavor! Here are some questions for you to use in doing a little ‘check up’ on how you are doing with your seed:
How are we treating our children at home?
When we correct are we gentle or do we break their spirits with our words?
Are we taking care of their physical needs?
Are we feeding them spiritually? Devotions are a must for our families!!!
Are we allowing them to feed on the world’s ways or do we help them to put Gods Word in their hearts and His way of doing things?
Do they see you living a Godly life before them?
Are you heeding the Word, walking in love, not quarreling or complaining, watching your temper and words?
Do they see you living by Faith, trusting that God is your source for all your needs?
Finally, are we teaching them to love the Lords House? They value what you value.
Go Kids Studio is an investment in our seed!
Love to all! Julie

- Pastor Alan I'm felling challenged!!
- Concillia How powerful Pastor Julie and your advice is so sound! A very good checklist to use all the time.
- Owen It really empathisizes the important role our children are to play within the Kingdom of God and places a greater responsibility on parents!! There would be no racehorse without no seed therefore how we treat our children will determine the effective presence of God's Kingdom within our commmunity, schools, life etc. All other things can be done but life begins with a child. Thanks Julie for your words.
- Julie Beemer Hi Everyone! Just another little thing that God has been prompting me to do! I have been laying hands on the kids as I pray for them. I have to give them a back scratch or foot rub while I do this
- Rudo This is awesome PJ and this helps us parents to also realise the potential that is in our kidz.Awesome word.
- Martin K Hi Pastor Julie,
This is really good word Pastor Julie. With all that Claire & I have been doing recently we have not been ensuring that our children are keeping up with their devotions.
Reality check for me! Thanks. Alan

This is an amazing Word from God and one I believe is totally "in due season". As we sow into the lives of our children this way, we are equally honouring our Daddy God and the Global Vision of WHBC at this time. What a blessing! With fond love and encouragement to all our parents out there, Martin.
