Our unit has plenty of room for everyone. The tents and caravans are arranged around the perimeter of our own designated space. The middle is like one large garden area with space for badminton, volleyball, football or cricket and for those who are young at heart, water-fights on a hot day!
There is so much for the kids; I guarantee they will have a whale of a time and you may only see them at meal times! There are designated groups for all ages including 0-2’s with parents at Little Treasures through to morning seminars for 18-30’s in Xtreme. My children have been to everything and I assure you that as well as being wonderfully looked after they have an awesome time with God. Follow the link and see the Faith Camp News from last year to see for yourself.
What about teaching?
The morning and evenings are full-on sessions. The afternoon has optional seminars for those who want more – this includes Prayer School which we both highly recommend.
Are you a single parent?
No worries, remember we are a family. A babysitting rota will be in effect every evening, which all parents are asked to be on at least once. This means everyone can get to as many meetings as possible.
My favourite bit?
Hot doughnuts round the unit table before going to bed. I love hearing all that God has done each day.
What do I need?
Don’t panic. Kewal and Joy Dass, our Unit Leaders this year are here to help. They have a list of camping essentials to enable you to pack and will co-ordinate extra equipment. If you are not going (and why not?) and have spare equipment you are prepared to lend, please let them know.
Don’t have a tent or caravan? You have 4 choices:
- Borrow a friends
- Buy one
- Hire a luxury tent and have it assembled or hire a caravan. You can have these waiting for you on your unit when you arrive on site – http://www.praxistent.com or
- B & B – for those who don’t want to camp Kewal and Joy have a list of local places to stay.
Finally, pick up a booking form at church and don’t forget to say you want to be with WHBC, Manchester on Unit 26 or Alan and Claire Morton on your booking form.
See you there!
Pastor Claire

- Cath Elliott I am not one for camping it makes my flesh scream out, saying you don't need this, or you are too old for this. I like my home comforts too much, BUT
- Martin Kavanagh You can't miss Faith Camp - it's awesome! Carol and I and the kids have been a dozen times in the past 15 years or so - it's the perfect time to hear afresh from God and see wonderful miracles of healing and restoration. What better time to go hear from God - and then go on your holiday afterwards with something new to inspire you ready for the autumn. There's still time to book - go for it!!! See you there, Martin, Carol, Dan, Tom & Becky xxx
this is not about me it's about HIM. I choose to give these things up for one week to say thank you and honour God for all He does for me and my family. God wants to bless his people by going in all ways whether by spending quality time with us, healings or financial miracles we choose to be re-filled, restored,& refreshed, believe me it's well worth going, and I for one am looking forward to it again and forming new friendships.
