As the title suggests there was nothing sugar coated and Pastor Claire brought God’s wisdom into this important area of every women’s life, leaving no thorny subject untouched. I don’t think anyone attending will forget the Duplo people and the brick wall that can be built up if offence is taken! A great visual and impactful way to explain the power of true forgiveness and honest communication between friends.
The morning ended with a call for women to consider their friends and if appropriate to make a covenant then and there or later with the friend that God was laying on their heart, helping women realise the importance of their friendships, what they receive and can bring to the relationship.
The morning had everything – good food and company, beautifully decorated surroundings, a message that had impact and even some crafts at the end! We were invited to make personalized clay hearts to give to our covenant friend.
The next event will be on Friday 12th March at 7pm at the Sanctuary when Pastor Claire, together with a panel of experienced women, will be looking at ‘Being Real about Being Mum’. We will be serving desserts during the evening. A definite date for your diary (if you are female!).
Don’t forget if you have any questions or any particular areas you would like covered during this evening to pop them in the box that is on the Information Desk at the back of church or email HYPERLINK "mailto:admin@goyewhbc.com" .

- Karen S Firstly, Thank you to Rose and the helpers for giving of your time to serve the ladies with the most wonderful breakfast'Yummy'.
- Paula I really enjoyed the women's breakfast. Well done Rose and team for good food. I really enjoyed having room to talk to other women. Pastor Claire's chatty bit was Fab, it was a good reminder to value our friends and 'look after them like a shepherd looks after his sheep'. I thought the whole morning was spot on.
- Karen W Thanks again to Rose and the team, brilliant job as always!
Pastor Claire was a fanatastic host/speaker, very inspiring and what she spoke on was very thought provoking and I for one am endevouring to put it into practise. Look forward to the next ladies meeting.

The whole morning whizzed by with good food and fellowship and a message from Pastor Claire which lived up to the promise of no holds barred, tackling difficult areas and really encouraging us to get serious in our friendships.
I am SOOOOOOO looking forward to the next event, dessert, chat, wisdom and encouragement - what more could you want? Get a babysitter if necessary, book the evening in your diary and make sure you get there - with a friend or two!
