This Week’s Chapters: Matthew 26 - Mark 2
Pastor Matt Beemer
Mt 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (NKJV)
All who know me could easily guess that out of these chapters in our daily readings I would go straight to the above verses. GO, GO, GO, GO, GO, GO, GO, GO, GO…. Can you hear that? That's my heart beating!
Go Where? Go to ALL NATIONS!
However, there is an important point to make first: notice that verse 19 starts by saying, ‘Go THEREFORE’… When the Bible says 'Therefore' we should find out what the 'Therefore' is there for.
The 'Therefore' is there is because in verse 18 Jesus said… 'All authority has been given to Me'. All authority was given to Jesus, but if He has all authority, how does that help me bring the Gospel to the Nations?
"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19
Before Jesus ascended into Heaven, He took all the authority He was given and gave it to the Church! Therefore, there is no power in Hell that can hinder us from doing what Jesus commanded – To Go to All Nations!
So as we 'Go' - and we certainly are going here at WHBC - let’s understand the authority that Jesus gave to us and make sure we exercise our rightful dominion in the Earth as we 'Go!'

Hi Pastor Matt
Just come back from a Prayer Conference and been very blessed and built up. One of the speakers was talking about the authority that we have in the name of Jesus, and went on to share that when we speak in His name we are speaking all that He is ie. all the hebrew names of Jesus being our Provider, our Salvation, our Healer and so on and that made me more concious not to pray that lightly but to consider that when I lay hands on the sick I am truly speaking that Jesus is the healer. When I pray for someone with financial needs I know that He is their Provider. Tremendous authority in the mighty name of Jesus. It has made me realise how powerful the wonderful name of Jesus is and that as we go making disciples of all nations that we have the incredible power of His mighty name and all that His name means. Bless you dear Pastor Matt and welcome home.

Go! Is a direct command, and you cannot say it without pointing out - in a forward direction....
This verse tells me that we have authority as we have Jesus inside of us and we are as one.
Jesus trusts us with his authority, because we are deep rooted in a Apostlistic Bible Church of the Word with excellent leadership and guidance!
His/our hearts are to reach all the nations.
Go - move - do - take action - dont stay still - be active! If you stay still and do nothing, you will become dry and fruitless.
Peace Love & Hope
